Campaign Manager

This is an opportunity to lead the operations and optimization of monetization channels across multiple LP digital businesses. This is a full-time position out of our Delray Beach office.

The successful candidate will be highly motivated to master their role. This is not “just” an operational role, this is an entrepreneurial position that requires a combined passion for marketing and pushing the boundaries of your responsibilities to help grow the business as a whole.

You must have at least 1 year hands-on experience in mobile app, programmatic, display, or performance/affiliate marketing and a deep understanding of the types of ad server tags and tracking protocols available to marketers.


Launch Potato is a profitable startup studio that incubates and launches mobile and web companies on our proprietary technology stack.

Our entire team is very hands-on, including the founders. This role would also be hands-on.


To you, the digital marketplace is a healthy and intriguing challenge, and there is endless opportunity to grow revenue.

You’ll be the point of contact for optimizing certain businesses. You’ll be personally responsible for analyzing and optimizing existing monetization campaigns, creating new ones, and strengthening partner relationships to increase LP revenue and value for our partners.

You know how cookies, pixel-based tracking, and server postback tracking works and when the appropriate time to use them is. You’ve set-up DFP, Zedo, OpenX, Cake or HasOffers campaigns yourself in the past.


You’ll schedule and QA campaigns daily in our tracking platform, monitor performance, and analyze results. You’ll work closely with LP Product Leads to understand revenue placements and user flows, and you’ll constantly push for performance improvement from both internal stakeholders and external partners.

You appreciate the intricacies of campaign tracking and enjoy daily wins in the tasks you accomplish.

You have holistic knowledge of the mobile, programmatic, and/or performance advertising space and are passionate about finding new ways to increase revenue/yield via email, site, and social.

You’ll analyze large sets of data to quantitatively assess performance and proactively work with LP product leads to take action on your recommendations to increase ROI.

You believe in meticulously checking the accuracy of your data, are slightly OCD about making sure tracking is set up properly, and know doing end-to-end user testing yourself - on multiple devices - is the best way to QA a new campaign.

You’ll help develop a comprehensive campaign strategy in a variety of verticals that builds upon our existing high-value and highly sought after partnerships.

You’ll proactively identify new opportunities and over-communicate your data-driven recommendations. You’ll set goals with LP product teams using previous performance metrics, competitive research and online trends.

You’ll look at LP businesses from a high-level, strategic point of view, and proactively create/build upon partner relationships to expand the business as a whole.

• Own the end-to-end setup of monetization campaigns in a variety of digital channels

• Be the in-house expert on conversion tracking

• Act as primary point of contact for internal teams to understand campaign performance across brands and placements

• Act as primary point of contact for external partners in setting up new campaigns and adjusting existing campaigns

• Work closely with LP Product Leads to execute new campaigns based on your recommendations or partner requirements

• Find new opportunities to increase revenue

• Drive and optimize key traffic and revenue metrics including revenue, CPM, CPA, CTR, CPC, conversion rates

• Resolve operational issues through quick thinking, problem solving and appropriate action

• Maintain and ensure high levels of partner value

• Streamline and automate complex, manual processes

• Efficiently leverage BI tools and pure old Internet research along with your marketing skills and creative genius to locate prospective partners, be an expert in the online advertising landscape and find who is “in the market”

• Execute end-to-end testing during all phases of a partner’s campaign cycle

• Set goals using previous performance metrics, competitive research and online trends and do everything you can to meet them


• Minimum: At least 1 year of hands-on experience in mobile app, programmatic, display, or performance/affiliate marketing. Ideally an additional 2-3 years in online advertising

• Expertise in how cookies work and tracking protocols: pixel-based tracking (image, iFrame), server-side tracking

• Experience using tracking/ad serving tools like DFP, Zedo, OpenZ, AdZerk, Cake or HasOffers

• Passionate about generating revenue and growing digital businesses

• Ability to aggressively collect, analyze and respond to data related to the performance of our key marketing metrics

• Strong business acumen and enthusiasm about identifying trends and marketing opportunities

• Experience with performance marketing

• General high technical aptitude

• Excellent Excel skills and ability to effectively present and communicate your analysis

• Results-driven with exceptional detail and knowledge around online advertising metrics

• Extremely patient and optimistic; can create friendly relationships with partners

• Extremely detail oriented

• Extremely resourceful and enjoys overcoming challenges

• Excellent analytical and writing skills

• Able to prioritize initiatives based on impact to business

• Excellent telephone presence and negotiating skills

• Familiarity or aptitude to learn different conversion tracking platforms/methods

• Experience exercising discretion and protecting confidential company information

• SQL, Advanced Excel

• Experience implementing header bidding framework

• Experience in creative ideation and prototyping of user experiences

• Demonstrated success in business development; getting deals done and successfully tested

• Hands-on experience in Photoshop/Powerpoint/Keynote to create brilliant pitch decks


Our normal team work hours are roughly 10am-5pm ET M-F. However, monetization is a mission-critical part of our business and there may be times where you need to monitor performance earlier in the morning, later at night, and on weekends as needed.

Additionally, we are a distributed digital team and there may be late/early meetings due to different time zones. We always try to work with everyone's schedules but at times there may be meetings earlier in the morning and later at night.
