Campaign Marketing Manager

This is an opportunity to lead the operations and optimization of monetization campaigns across multiple LP digital businesses. This is a full-time position out of our Delray Beach office; remote not available.

This is a role that requires both high technical and analytical aptitude as well as efficient account management. As Campaign Marketing Manager, you’ll be in an entrepreneurial position that requires a combined passion for marketing and pushing the boundaries of your responsibilities to help grow the business as a whole. The successful candidate will be highly motivated to master their role.

You must have at least 1 year hands-on experience in digital marketing in a professional setting.

Ideally you have experience in performance/affiliate, mobile, or programmatic advertising with an understanding of the types of ad server tags and tracking protocols available to marketers.

THE ROLE - TL:DR

You’ll be the point of contact between Launch Potato Product Leads and advertiser partners. Your goal will be to understand the opportunities available from both sides and work to increase revenue for Launch Potato products. You’ll be responsible for coordinating, analyzing and working with the teams to optimize new and existing campaigns on a daily basis.

You will be an expert on our marketing channels and user experiences and understand the nuances that go into making a successful consumer marketing offer. You’ll communicate throughout the day via Skype, Slack, and email with our partners to ensure campaigns are filled and tracking is properly executed.

You’ll work closely with LP Product Leads to understand revenue placements and you’ll constantly push for performance improvement from both internal stakeholders and external partners.

You believe in meticulously checking the accuracy of your data, are slightly OCD about making sure tracking is set up properly, and know doing end-to-end user testing yourself - on multiple devices - is the best way to QA a new campaign.

You appreciate the intricacies of campaign tracking and enjoy daily wins in the tasks you accomplish.

You’ll look at LP businesses from a high-level, strategic point of view, and proactively build upon partner relationships to expand the business as a whole.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Internal

• Own the end-to-end setup of monetization campaigns in a variety of digital channels

• Proactively identify new opportunities to grow revenue as your main goal

• Act as primary point of contact for internal teams to understand campaign performance across brands and placements

• Drive and optimize key traffic and revenue metrics including revenue, RPM, RPC, CTR, conversion rates

• Work closely with LP Product Leads to execute new campaigns based on your recommendations or partner requirements; set goals using previous performance metrics, competitive research and online trends

• Proactively identify new opportunities and over-communicate your data-driven recommendations

• Become the in-house expert on our tracking platform and proper campaign setup

External

• Act as primary point of contact for external partners in setting up new campaigns and adjusting existing campaigns

• Find new opportunities to expand the business relationship and drive partner value

• Resolve operational issues through quick thinking, problem solving and appropriate action

• Streamline and automate complex, manual processes

• Efficiently leverage BI tools and pure old Internet research along with your marketing skills and creative genius to locate prospective partners, be an expert in the online advertising landscape and find who is “in the market”

• Execute end-to-end testing during all phases of a partner’s campaign cycle

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Minimum: At least 1 year of hands-on experience in digital marketing. Ideally you have experience in performance/affiliate marketing or programmatic marketing

• Takes ownership about finding new ways to increase revenue/yield and passionate about growing digital businesses

• Ability to aggressively collect, analyze and respond to data related to the performance of our key marketing metrics

• Strong business acumen and enthusiasm about identifying trends and marketing opportunities

• Experience with performance marketing

• General high technical aptitude

• Excellent Excel skills and ability to effectively present and communicate your analysis

• Results-driven with exceptional detail and knowledge around online advertising metrics

• Extremely patient and optimistic; can create friendly relationships with partners

• Extremely detail oriented

• Extremely resourceful and enjoys overcoming challenges

• Excellent analytical and writing skills

• Able to prioritize initiatives based on impact to business

• Excellent telephone presence and negotiating skills

• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can balance multiple tasks simultaneously in a startup atmosphere

• Familiarity or aptitude to learn different conversion tracking platforms/methods

• Experience exercising discretion and protecting confidential company information

KNOW THESE? EVEN BETTER!

• Expertise in how cookies work and experience with implementing tracking protocols: pixel-based tracking (image, iFrame), server-side tracking

• Experience using tracking/ad serving tools like DFP, Zedo, OpenX, HitPath, AdZerk, Cake or HasOffers

• HTML

• Photoshop - comfortable modifying advertiser mockup/pitch decks

• SQL, Advanced Excel

• Experience in creative ideation and prototyping of user experiences

• Demonstrated success in business development; getting deals done and successfully tested

AVAILABILITY

Our normal team work hours are roughly 10am-5pm ET M-F. However, monetization is a mission-critical part of our business and there may be times where you need to monitor performance earlier in the morning, later at night, and on weekends as needed.

Additionally, we are a distributed digital team and there may be late/early meetings due to different time zones. We always try to work with everyone's schedules but at times there may be meetings earlier in the morning and later at night.
